Carl Rollyson

Carl Rollyson is the author of Ronald Colman: Hollywood's Gentleman Hero, released this past spring. He has penned as well American Isis: The Life and Art of Sylvia Plath and Amy Lowell Anew: A Biography. He is the recipient of four NEH research grants, funding that supported projects to study the role of biography in the study of literature and to work on a biography of Rebecca West. In 2009, he received a research fellowship grant of $50,400 to work on his biography of Amy Lowell.
