During the last week in July, K-12 teachers will gather in Philadelphia for a one-week intensive Summer Teachers Institute to study how the Constitutional Framers' vision of First Amendment protections has changed over time and continues to be changed in the 21st century. This exciting program will include readings, lectures and discussions relating to constitutional law supported by Supreme Court case history pertaining to the First Amendment. Attendees also will fully immerse themselves in the Birthplace of Our Nation, exploring America's most historic square mile while visiting Independence Hall, Congress Hall, the Liberty Bell, and the National Constitution Center.
