David Haven Blake

David Haven Blake is a professor of English at The College of New Jersey and the author of two books on the history of fame: the award-winning Liking Ike: Eisenhower, Advertising, and the Rise of Celebrity Politics (2016) and Walt Whitman and the Culture of American Celebrity (2006). In 2015, Blake received an NEH Enduring Questions grant to develop a course on the meaning of fame from Antiquity to the Enlightenment.
