Jackson Foster

Biography
Jackson Foster is a Program Analyst in the Division of Research Programs, supporting Fellowships, Fellowships for Advanced Social Science Research on Japan, and Awards for Faculty. A former intern, he returned to NEH after two years in the UK on a Marshall Scholarship. Jackson is a historian of England, its criminal law, and its empire. He holds an MSc (with distinction) in criminology and criminal justice from the University of Oxford, an MA (with distinction) in medieval and early modern studies from Durham University, and a BA (hons.) in history and religion from the University of Alabama.
