Biography
Hadassah St. Hubert is a Program Officer in the Division of Preservation and Access. She received a PhD in history from the University of Miami, specializing in Caribbean, Latin American, and African Diasporic history. Her research interests focus on visual culture and the representation of developing nations at World’s Fairs and Expositions. Before arriving at NEH, she was the Council on Library and Information Resources (CLIR) postdoctoral fellow in Latin American and Caribbean Studies at the Digital Library of the Caribbean (dLOC). Her experience includes digital humanities, archival preservation, collaborations across cultural institutions, and digitizing endangered collections.
