Norwalk's Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum earns $24,500 grant for new exhibit on Wall Street

The Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum was awarded a $24,500 implementation grant by Connecticut Humanities for a new exhibition called, “Bulls of Wall Street: High Finance, Power, and Social Change in Victorian America.”
CT Humanities, a nonprofit affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities, also awarded planning and implementation grants to the Connecticut Heritage Foundation Inc. of Hartford, $25,000; the Connecticut River Foundation at Steamboat Dock in Essex, $25,000; Mystic Seaport Museum Inc. of Stonington, $25,000; the University of Connecticut Foundation Inc. of Mansfield, $9,766; and the University of Hartford/Maurice Greenberg Center in West Hartford, $19,182.
