New School Student and Faculty Achievements Include Fulbright Awards and National Endowment for the Humanities Grants
Students and faculty members from throughout The New School continue to have their academic and research acknowledged through prestigious grant and scholarship programs. Their work has been recognized by the Fulbright Program, the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program, the National Endowment for the Humanities, and the German Academic Exchange Service.
Nicolas Langlitz, a professor of anthropology, and Natalia Mehlman Petrzela, an associate professor of history, received grants from the National Endowment of the Humanities (NEH) during its most recent round of funding. The NEH sponsors vital humanities education, research, preservation, and public programs, supporting projects that “contribute to our greater understanding of the human endeavor and add to our nation’s wealth of educational and cultural resources,” said NEH Chair Shelly C.
