The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) awarded The Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum at Michigan State University with a $50,000 grant to support the symposium Aesthetics of Solidarity by Arab American in April of 2025.

The NEH grant contributed to the Michigan State University’s Broad Art Museum because of its commitment to giving a voice to underrepresented art and the creativity of many cultures.

The funding will allow a diverse group of artists, art historians, scholars, and audiences to engage with the expressions of solidarity in Arab American and Arab diaspora art for fighting global injustices past and present, said MSU Broad Art Museum in a news release.
