Hoosier high schoolers have the chance to win $50,000 in awards through Indiana Humanities’ Poetry Out Loud competition.
The program invites Indiana schools to hold classroom and school-wide contests in the fall to help advance students to a state competition.
After-school clubs, nonprofit organizations and libraries are also able to hold contests that will advance one student to the state level.
Indiana Humanities also offers an independent competition for students who do not have access to school-related or organizational contests.
