HMS teacher receives National Endowment for the Humanities fellowship

Stephen Riner, a teacher at Huntington Middle School, has been accepted to participate in the Heart Mountain Wyoming Foundation’s workshop for educators sponsored by the National Endowment for the Humanities.
Heart Mountain, Wyoming, and the Japanese American Incarceration will teach educators about the conditions that led to the incarceration of 120,000 Japanese Americans, two-thirds of them U.S. citizens, at Heart Mountain, Wyoming, and nine other camps throughout the country.
