High Desert Museum scores $500,000 grant for Indigenous exhibit renovation

The High Desert Museum in Bend will receive a $500,000 grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities to support the revitalization of its exhibition on Indigenous cultures, "By Hand Through Memory." 

The museum announced that this funding, part of a total commitment of $1,045,000, will help update the exhibition to center Native voices and perspectives while expanding the museum's capacity for educational programming and immersive experiences.
