Enjoy the Art Exhibit at the Fair Lawn Library

Long-time resident and artist Kay Faye Fialkoff will exhibit works on paper and fabric, 1979-2018, featuring a series of embroidery masterworks, “Prayers for the Earth, 1990-2018” at the Pine Gallery. The juried exhibition titled “Off the Spool: My Big Adventure with Thread,” will run from November 4 through December 28, 2018. Guided tours for teachers, professors, environmental educators and their students and others are available by appointment.

Ms. Fialkoff"s works on paper and poetry have toured libraries throughout the state of New Jersey under a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities. Her embroideries have been exhibited at the Paterson Museum in Paterson and the Belskie Museum of Art and Science in Closter and have been published in “Needle Arts” magazine.
