Cleveland Museum of Natural History awarded $350k grant from National Endowment for the Humanities

The Cleveland Museum of Natural History was recently awarded a $350,000 grant from the National Endowment for Humanities to support the sustainable preservation of the museum’s humanities collection, including anthropology, fine arts, rare books collections and archives.
The project, called “Ensuring the Sustainable Preservation of the Cleveland Museum of Natural History’s Humanities Collection,” intends to increase energy efficiency and help the museum work towards its environmental sustainability goals. The grant is the largest NEH grant the museum has ever received, and its first since 1986.
