Be a Part of the Woodstock 1969 Oral History Initiative

Museum curators began traveling throughout the country looking for those unique stores since the beginning of the year. According to the Bethel Museum, a major federal grant was awarded from the National Endowment for the Humanities to continue the oral history pop-ups.
Even if you worked at Woodstock, served as a volunteer, or had interactions with any of the organizations that came to Woodstock to aid with the festival, the museum wants to hear your story. The goal is to collect 4,500 Woodstock stories from people who attended the festival.
