Alert for Individual Applicants: Grants.gov & Deadline Extensions

NEH has learned of an ongoing technical issue at the Grants.gov application portal affecting individual applicants to NEH’s funding opportunities. Grants.gov anticipates that this issue will be resolved by April 16.

• NEH Fellowships are now due by April 21, 2022, at 11:59 PM EDT.
• NEH Awards for Faculty at Historically Black Colleges and Universities are now due by April 21, 2022, at 11:59 PM EDT.
• NEH Awards for Faculty at Hispanic-Serving Institutions are now due by April 21, 2022, at 11:59 PM EDT.
• NEH Awards for Faculty at Tribal Colleges and Universities are now due by April 21, 2022, at 11:59 PM EDT.
• NEH-Mellon Fellowships for Digital Publication are now due by April 25, 2022, at 11:59 PM EDT.

Thank you for your patience with this delay. We encourage interested applicants to prepare materials offline using the application guidelines offered in the relevant Notice of Funding Opportunity and then upload and submit using Grants.gov once the problem has been resolved.
