The New Bedford Historical Society sponsors a reading of Douglass’ 1845 memoir, Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass, an American Slave. Join community residents, school students, elected officials and Douglass admirers as we share Douglass's words in his first home in freedom, New Bedford, MA.
