Children, too, were part of the struggle.

One of many major film projects supported by NEH, The Storm That Swept Mexico tells the story of the Mexican Revolution of 1910, the first major political and social revolution of the 20th century and the first revolution to be filmed. The revolution not only changed the course of Mexican history, politics and economics, but also profoundly impacted the relationships between Mexico, the U.S. and the rest of the world.

The program first aired on PBS in May of 2011.
