Co-hosted by University of Massachusetts Amherst and UCLA, this institute will consider advanced problems and issues facing scholars working with 3D content with an emphasis on the end user experience. This institute will take place over two consecutive summers. In 2015, participants will gather for a week at UMass Amherst to discuss key issues and challenges with institute faculty, and define research questions that they will explore in the subsequent academic year. In 2016, participants will present their findings at a three-day symposium to be held at UCLA.
From June 22-28, 2015, the institute will be hosted by the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Participants will gather for a follow-up institute June 20-23, 2016, at the University of California, Los Angeles.
