David Macaulay

David Macaulay is a children’s book author and illustrator; a 1995 recipient of the NEH Charles Frankel Prize, the predecessor award to the National Humanities Medal, for which he designed the first medal used from 1997 until 2014; and a Caldecott winner for Black and White.
