This new funding opportunity responds to calls from within the humanities community for more robust data and analysis relating to the health of humanities professions and the impact of the humanities on civic life.
For the purposes of this grant program, the humanities include the study and interpretation of human experience and the arts and involve a wide range of humanities organizations and activities, from research universities to libraries, historical societies, and community organizations; from peer-reviewed publications to undergraduate courses, podcasts, and book clubs.
